je veux = I want

second person singular + informal form of address

tu veux = you want

Tu veux toujours avoir raison. You want to always be right.

third person singular + masculine

il veut = he wants

Il veut apprendre le japonais. He wants to learn Japanese.

third person singular + feminine

elle veut = she wants

Elle veut un nouveau téléphone. She wants a new phone.

nous voulons = we want

Nous voulons partir en vacances. We want to go on vacation.

second person plural second person singular + respectful form of address

vous voulez = you want
