first person singular

je vis = I live

Je vis à la campagne. I live in the countryside.

second person singular + informal form of address

tu vis = you live

Tu vis comme tu veux. You live how you want.

third person singular + masculine

il vit = he lives

Il vit seul dans un appartement. He lives alone in an apartment.

third person singular + feminine

elle vit = she lives

Elle vit une belle histoire. She lives a beautiful story.

first person plural

nous vivons = we live

Nous vivons ensemble depuis cinq ans. We live together for five years.

second person plural second person singular + respectful form of address

vous vivez = you live

Si vous vivez à l’étranger... If you live abroad...

third person plural + masculine

ils vivent = they live

Ils vivent dans le luxe. They live in luxury.

third person plural + feminine

elles vivent = they live
